So somebody named Anonymous just raised the question on this blog as to whether Vanderbilt has inferior athletes on offense or Ted Cain is a bad offensive coordinator? What do you think?
Here are some more questions for you:
• Which Vanderbilt offensive players could start for the SEC teams currently not in the Top 25 (Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Miss State, South Carolina, Tennessee)?
• Which Vanderbilt offensive players could start for the SEC teams currently in the Top 25 (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU)?
• Given our offensive talent — or lack thereof — what offense should Vanderbilt be running and what plays should Cain be calling?

I know we lost all five starters on the O-line, and we will have 20 starters coming back next year, but I don't know if I can handle 4 more games this year and then 12 more next year with this same ineffective offense. What happened to teh 2nd half adjustments we seemed to be able to make in the first four games. Have teams realized that we are one dimensional and can't throw the ball? You can't be one deminsional in the SEC (or ACC for that matter and we saw against Duke). Maybe as teh underdog in these next 4 games we might play (and coach) with some passion. I saw ZERO offensive passion against Duke. Looked like they were just hoping for the defense to make a play or score and then the fumbled punt close to the goal line and it was all over.
