The Commodores honored Ryan Hamilton as Saturday's defensive player of the game. And Ryan did have a great game, recording a career-high 13 tackles. Imagine how much longer the Gator touchdown plays would have been if Ryan hadn't made all those tackles. I don't think they would have had many more touchdowns, just longer ones. (The Gators never punted when Tebow was in the game.)
But it's never a good sign when your safety has 13 tackles. Ryan had tackles because the linemen and ends and linebackers didn't have tackles.
