WEEKLY VANDERBILT BOWL PROJECTION UPDATE

Despite the Miss State loss, ESPN hasn't budged on its projections for Vanderbilt. Mark Schlabach still thinks Vanderbilt goes to the Outback Bowl (this week's opponent: Minnesota) and Bruce Feldman still thinks Vanderbilt goes to the Liberty Bowl (this week's opponent: Marshall).

Also, let me say that because I'm posting that somebody says Vanderbilt is going to a New Year's Day bowl doesn't mean I'm predicting the Commodores to actually go to a New Year's Day bowl. I'm taking one thing at a time. We've got to win six games first, and that's not a done deal yet. And then we've got to win seven games.

Anyway, here's a rundown of the rest of the SEC:

Alabama: BCS Championship vs. Texas.
Georgia: Capital One vs. Michigan State or Cotton vs. Texas Tech
Florida: Sugar Bowl vs. BYU or Pittsburgh
LSU: Cotton vs. Texas Tech or Capital One vs. Penn State
Auburn: Liberty vs. Tulsa or Music City vs. Wake Forest
South Carolina: Chick-Fil-A vs. Va. Tech or Outback vs. Wisconsin
Ole Miss: Independence vs. Nebraska or Chick-Fil-A vs. North Carolina
Kentucky: Music City vs. Ga. Tech or PapaJohn's.Com vs. West Virginia
Tennessee: Independence vs. Kansas State
Arkansas: PapaJohn's.Com vs. UConn
