SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE WHEN VANDERBILT FACES FLORIDA

Sure, Vanderbilt's offensive woes have been thoroughly documented. But it's defense has been rock-solid.

In the past four games — against Auburn, Miss State, Georgia and Duke — the Commodores have given up 16 points a game.

Oh yeah, but in the past four games — against Arkansas, LSU, Kentucky and Georgia — Florida's offense has scored more than 50 points a game.

Something will give... Vanderbilt's defense. But don't worry, so has Georgia's and pretty much every defense in the country would as well. Florida has so much speed it is sick. Sick, sick, sick. You should only be allowed to recuit so many players that run under a 10.4 100-meters. That's all I have to say.

Unfortunately, you're right. At the beginning of the season, Vanderbilt DE Broderick Stewart said the Commodores had the fastest defense in the SEC. I hope the Gators don't have that quote up on their bulletin board.
