Vanderbilt and Boston College break Music City Bowl tradition

Music City Bowl officials like to tout their game as a high-scoring affair. Since the inception of the bowl, Music City matchups have rendered an average of 50 total points a game.

Um, you picked the wrong teams, guys.

This season, Vanderbilt and its opponents have combined for an average of 40 total points per game. Boston College and its opponents have combined for an average of 44 total points per game.
