Brain-dead

Good Lord.

With Vandy down 14-7 at the start of the second half, Jordan Rodgers hits Chris Boyd for a 72-yard pass play. Boyd's tackled on the Vol 1-yard line.

But while Chris is battling toward the goal line, Josh Jelesky is clipping a Tennessee defender. And after Jordan had made the throw.

It's one thing to miss a field goal or trip over your own feet, but it's quite another to do something that freaking stupid.

We've been giddily declaring for weeks that this isn't the Same Old Vandy. It make take a bit longer to be sure of that. In the past 15 years or so, we've finished plenty of seasons with five victories.

If we don't pull our head out, that just may happen again.

By the way, UT's about to score again.

Josh Jelesky should be suspended for the rest of the year and FRANKLIN should ask him to leave the team. His intent was to seriously hurt the other player. Wasn't he the same idiot that clipped the GEORGIA player also. Also their was a VANDY player that got into with COURTNEY UPSHAW of BAMA because UPSHAW stated that the VANDY player tried to hurt him. VANDY is getting a bad reputation.

Obviously you don't even know what you are talking about. His clipping call was not trying to hurt anyone. It's called football, there's contact and players make bad choices sometimes. You call the other lineman (LS) an "Idiot" referencing the Georgia game. Franklin addressed that and said it was corrected. If these lineman are "Idiots" why are they going to school at one of the best schools in the country, which has a much better graduation rate of athletes than most other schools, even Georgia & Bama. Why do you go check out those facts, then let's see who the "idiots" are. And if UPSHAW is afraid of getting hurt, then let him to quit. It's football - get over it!!
